A: Pours a murky golden honey orange in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate medium golden yellow + burnt orange colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy off-white head that reduces to a large patch of mottled very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit pith, herbal, earthy, and pine/spruce hops over the top of light aromas of biscuit malts with minimal amounts of sweetness.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of biscuit + wheat malts with a minimal amount of sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit pith, herbal, earthy, and pine/spruce hops with the earthy and herbal flavors being a little more dominant. There is a light amount of bitterness which fades pretty quickly leaving a lingering earthy + herbal + grapefruit pith hop flavor.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: I feel like this beer really misses the mark with the combination of hops flavors + aromas when it is described as a hazy/juicy IPA - it was interesting hop combination and I enjoyed the beer but it did not deliver what it was described as being. Alcohol is well hidden and it is pretty easy to drink.

Murky orange with a small creamy head that sticks fairly well. Spicy, woody hops leading to green pepper, bergamot, black tea, and grapefruit peel. Peppery grapefruit, spruce, melon. Medium bodied, clingy feel. It's hazy in appearance, sure, but if you're looking for a NE-style IPA, this is not it. It's an interesting blend of hops and the earthier qualities of the two seem to shine brightest, so it's a pretty decent IPA if you're into that. Not every brewery needs to attempt to churn out the hazy juice bombs, but I suppose that's what everyone is looking for.

Poured from a 16oz can dated 12/28/17 into a snifter with about a half finger's worth of frothy head, quickly dissipating. The beer is a hazy light orange, totally unfiltered. Candied orange, some lemon, and a hint of evergreen on the nose. Mouthfeel is smooth with light carbonation. Taste has notes of pineapple juice and grapefruit pith, very dry finish reminiscent of citrus rind and pine. Overall, this is a pretty bitter New England style IPA. Not a bad attempt, but not yet in the brewer's wheelhouse.
