As a few other reviewers, I was expecting more of a "Hazy" aka NE style IPA. I was hoping for a more juiciness from the hop flavors. Drinks pretty easily and the alcohol is really well-hidden. Worth sampling if you come across it!

A: Pours a murky medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate medium golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of medium thick film covering a little more than 50% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of lightly mottled thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit, citrus/grapefruit pith, tropical/mango, and piney hops over the top of light aromas of caramel + biscuit + bready malts with a light amount of caramel + honey sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of caramel + biscuit + bready malts with a light amount of caramel + honey sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit, slightly spicy/peppery citrus/grapefruit pith, tropical/mango, and piney hops which imparts a light amount of lingering bitterness.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly thin/watery with a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: By the name of the beer, I was expecting more of an NE style IPA but I guess that was not going to happen at 40 IBU. The beer is not bad just not what I was expecting - I was hoping for a little more juiciness from the hop flavors. Drinks pretty easily and the alcohol is well hidden.
