Gross flavor. Hard to describe but tastes rotten somehow. Maybe a contaminated batch?

L: Had this beer on-tap at Brewmasters - Wilson, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a thick consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, off white head that didn't last particularly long. Good lacing.
S: A decent aroma of Belgian yeast, dark fruit, and some spices.
T: Tasted of a good amount of dark fruit (figs, dates), some Belgian yeast (not an overly aggressive strain), brettanomyces (slightly funky), and light spices (pepper, perhaps). An interesting, if not wholly successful, flavor. The brett adds a good new dimension, but it needed a little more oomph. Still, not bad.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is an uneven beer in spots, but it has its good qualities. Worth a look.
