Appearance - Pours deep purplish color with not much head no lacing thin ring around the glass.
Aroma - Lots of vinegar, the bourbon and oak are very noticeable, picking up some tart blackberries as well. The sour/tart/bourbon works well on the nose.
Taste - The first thing that hits is the vinegar and sour tart blackberries. Somewhere about midway through the bourbon peeks through along with the oak very subtle. The vinegar comes back a little on the back end for just a second that is a little unpleasant.
Feel - Light bodied tart pretty dry finish and slightly puckering.
Overall - I am impressed that they pulled this off. A bourbon barrel aged kettle sour!!!! While it does not blow you away it is solid.
