Our version of Black is Beautiful, a worldwide collab with Weathered Souls Brewing Co, starts with their base stout recipe, which we boiled for 19 hours for a super creamy and thick body. We added lactose and Daallo blend Somali chai from our friends at Jeddah's Tea in Durham to mimic a chai latte. A large portion of the proceeds from this beer will go to The CNOTE Foundation, a Durham-based organization that seeks to create sustainable scholarship solutions at HBCU's for under-represented youth.
