No One Asked For Your Opinion, Matt is a 6.8% hazy IPA hopped exclusively and heavily with the finest Citra we could get our hands on. A silky malt backbone provides the perfect canvas for a pure expression of Citra: notes of passion fruit, sweet grapefruit juice, lime zest, and hints of lychee and mango.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a stemless glass. It pours a murky, bright orange with a thin, milky head and modest soapy lacing. It has a strong smell of orange, lemon, grapefruit, and ripe melon. The taste just pops with grapefruit, orange/tangerine, and tropical fruit. The Citra hops really shine in this beer. Balancing the citrus is a creamy malt sweetness. It almost tastes like its brewed with some oats but I don't see any indication on the website. The mouth feel is excellent: full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. The 6.8% ABV gives it good substance but isn't overpowering. I drank this ale outdoors on a hot, humid afternoon and enjoyed it immensely. I haven't had a better New England IPA in the Triangle.
