This golden beer has a refined head. The flavor is characterized by hints of caramel, toffee and biscuit. Moorsele's Bukske has a good balance between the malt and the bitterness of the hops. The sparkle contributes to a pleasant mouth feel. The sweetness nicely flows out without being sticky.

While I added Bukske and copied the Description from UnTappd, it does say "blond." Perhaps something got lost in translation as Bukske is "amber" and if you look at the label, Bukske is a big muscular brown mountain ram... not a pretty blonde. Hence, I style this a BPA.
Bukske also shows his delicate side by leaving a lace the length of the glass. Smells are mostly malt and fruit and I was hoping for something more interesting. However Tastes are well-balanced, only in the finish do the hops assert themselves and even then they are modest. Medium-mouthed, a nice soft Feel. Paired well with my veggie stew.
For a small micro with a limited line, Biermaekers has a good website. Bukske is not on their BUX line directly, but they give him his own webpage. https://buxbeer.com/moorseles-bukske/. But that may be because Biermaekers has this long affinity for sheep that stretches back into the previous century. They are expanding their markets and even have a new distributor in Taiwan. (I hope it lasts thru the coming coup.) Anyhow for all that, I give Biermaekers very good Overall Hugs. Op Wu Gezondheid !

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
