The perfect amount of German malt and Citra hops are cosmically balanced in this hybrid of a Pale Ale style. Citrus notes from start to finish with a slightly bready backbone.

12 oz. can, states it's a Pale Ale.

Appearance: Super cloudy orange amber glass holds a full but thin cover of bright white foam that leaves a bit of lace.

Aroma: C-hops, orange peel, lime skin, orange blossom.

Taste: Excellent balance between the cracker malt base and the floral fruity hops. A slight caramel sweetness in the finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium light body, medium carbonation, a bit gritty, dry finish.

Overall: Started enjoying this so much I almost forgot to review it. Love the hops, love the balance, love the finish, easy drinking but full of flavor, nothing I can point to as even a minor flaw. I think the Kolsch label is throwing off the reviews, nothing in here says Kolsch to me, just an awesome Pale.
Super impressed, strongly recommended.

Kolsch? Weird, everywhere else including the label refer to it as a pale ale. I guess there is some reference to mish mash style, kolsch with Citra hops, so here we go.

Pours golden copper of the brighter variety, clarity ain't this beers stunning attribute. 2/5" white head. A light aroma of mostly Citra hops, good tangerine and orange blossom like contingent. Kolsch yeast wasn't happening for me here.

Taste did impart a very slight kolsch yeast aspect of it. The mouth feel had plenty of carbonation almost requisite for a kolsch. The hopping definitely is more than you're used to in a kolsch, but the sum of its parts is better than it sounds. Truly is a mash up but not a weird one, one you can enjoy. The orange aspect of it continues throughout. There is a light grain presence to to it more indicative of a lager/vienna malt with a slight breadiness.

At the end of the day, I liked it and I like this brewery. Would bang again.

I liked this beer. Clean, fresh, enjoyable.

Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Clear yellow color with nice head and lacing. Grassy smell and tSte. Very nice hoppy backbone makes this beer interesting. Recommended.

Nice kolsch, good dankness on the nose, and grassy hop and citrus play well together. Great sessionable beer. Definitely pushing the bounds of a kolsch.

On tap at Piggy's Kitchen & Bar (Houston, TX), served in a shaker pint. Clear golden yellow with a low but dense head of white foam and spotty lace. Light, malty body of a kolsch with nice grainy notes, but hopped like an APA: citrus rind, grass and a good bitter finish. Far from traditional, but a tasty pint to wash down a country fried steak & eggs in the Houston summer heat.
