Have had several times on tap, and now a growler from Premium Draught.
A: From the growler pours very clear. I have had this on tap at a few places and sometimes it pours with a bit of chill haze. A golden/orange color. A two finger white head forms with good retention and lace all the way down the glass.
S: Fruity berries and peach up front. Perfume like, grassy, lightly floral, some sweetness, lingering bitterness. Very nice.
T: Berries and peach for sure. Almost like over ripe fruit with the peaches becoming much more apparent as this warms. A touch sweet, then the grassy floral, citrus bitterness lingers. Really nice.
M/O: A medium to full body. Crisp carbonation, very clean, and smooth all at the same time. Easy and enjoyable to drink, I have continued to come back to this whenever I see it and the growler will be gone in no time.
This is their homage to Art Car for the Saint Arnold tributes that several breweries around Houston have been doing. Basically Art Car dry hopped several times with Citra, El Dorado, and Mosaic. It all works really well with a nice peachy flavor becoming the most prominent characteristic. I would love to see this as their regular IPA over Space Train, and hope it will be more of a rotating release if not. Really well made and enjoyable.
