A: Pours a cloudy yellow/orange color. A two finger white head forms with good retention and plenty of lace left behind.
S: Yeast, and fruity esters up front and center. Lightly phenolic as well. A touch of doughy and bread like malts. Simple but very nice. The yeast character is very nice.
T: Again the yeast character is really well done. Fruity esters. Bananas and pears, with a light clove spice. Lightly phenolic as well. Bread like malts, and just a touch of grassy bitterness that is in the background. Mostly yeast driven, and I like that a a lot.
M/O: A light to medium body. Crisp, very effervescent dry, and refreshing. Easy to drink, and something I will be looking to come back to.
I love the yeast character here, and the rest is subtle, almost deceptively simple. Though well done. A good American example of a Belgian Pale Ale.
