16 oz. can pours a opaque orange with a modest, fine-bubbled white head. A smattering of lace and leaves a perma-ring but otherwise fades pretty fast.

Nose is juicily tropical, reminds me of those smoothie-mix flavored skittles - do they still make those? Some bubble gum and grapefruit peel round things out.

Taste is bursting with hop flavor but also packs quite the biterness on the back end. Malts stay light and grainy, biscuity even, but are not flabby by any means. The hop flavors turn a little more citrus than pine on the taste and stay with you a while. ABV is well integrated and it would be hard to guess this one is over 8%. Good stuff, it might be the best EH beer I have had to date.

A: Pours with a good haze (though certainly not at the level of the NEIPA's). Golden/orange color. A dense two finger white head forms with some lace left behind.
S: Tropical fruits up front in the nose, which is pretty strong. Orange and grapefruit peal, maybe some lavender. A bit herbal and oily. A very nice nose overall.
T: Like the nose, plenty of tropical fruity flavors, that don't get to the full on "juicy" character that many people are going crazy for now. Though, mango and melon's specifically. Orange rind and grapefruit, with lingering bitterness. A nice DIPA, but doesn't pop as much as I would like, still very enjoyable.
M/O: A full body. Moderate carbonation that last throughout, with a touch of oily stickiness. Smooth at the same time. Easy to drink, and I have had several at the brewery and at home. So definitely something I will come back to.

A very nice DIPA. I find that Mini Boss is more vibrant for me, and probably something I will reach for more times if given the option. Though this is very well made. Something to look for when at the brewery.
