Another beer picked up in the summer of 2020. This might have been my fave of the Eureka acquisitions. Funny label too. "A financially questionable amount of hops" or something to that effect. 1st review of this beer on BA is quite shocking, whereas their less popular styles (cream, esb, belgian pale) all had prior reviews. Shoulder shrug emoji here.
Pours hazy right in that moderate/average amount. 1/3" white head. The aroma is simply put, quite bangin'. Lots of Mosaic and Citra dropping all those citrus and tropical notes. El Dorado and Galaxy in supporting roles seemingly diversifying up the tropical fruit, like hey, papaya and guava are cool but lets drop some pineapple and passion fruit in there too.
Taste is very rich with hop saturation. The commercial tug job here is on point. Its just super easy, barely bitter waves of hoppiness. The mouth feel is good, especially if you're the kind of guy who hates on bittering hops or west coast ipas. This is a really good ipa that can hang with almost anything in California or Vermont.
