Great name for a beer from Texas. I can dig it sucka!

Pours a hazy yellow and it starts to approach looking like screwdriver orange juice. This seems to be firmly within the hazy pale ale category. It will prolly be a contest between BA and BJCP to see who adds the category last, years after everyone else has already. 1/3" white head. The can speaks of Moteuka hops, but there is also, in their own words of a hilarious commercial tug job "a financially questionable amount of (Mosaic) hops." Smells as such, all that down under dankness going on here.

Taste is quite enjoyable, light in stature, the mixture of barley and wheat makes for a pillowy base for the hoppy dankness to obliterate the mouth with tropical fruit dank weed like notes. Doesn't fall into watery trub territory, has enough of a bittering edge to it to make the oldheads like me happy. Just the lightest tinge of sweetness to it. I put the sticker on the newstand over a year ago and its still there.

Pours a very cloudy golden yellow color with a thin foamy head. Retention is mild. Lacing is good. Juicy, fresh citrus aroma with tropical notes and mild piney resin. Fresh juicy tropical citrus taste with decent piney resin and mild bitterness on the end. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
