This straw colored lager might look like some cheap swill you'd find at a raging kegger, but take one whiff and you'll know the party is in your cup! To make this heady beverage, we paired the palest malt we could find with some rice and gave it a whopping 6 IBUs. Then, we fermented it low and slow with our favorite German lager yeast to yield the best dang boring lager we could make. But oh boy, things took a turn for party town once we added a gigantic dose of Mosaic and Mosaic Cryo dry hops! The resulting liquid offers a pungent expression of tangerine, lemon, ripe tropical fruit, gooseberries, juicy hop resins, and blueberries that leap from your glass. Extremely crushable, deliciously dank, and refreshing!

I've had beers that claimed to be IPLs before, but this is the first that actually tasted like one.
The brewery description is pretty spot on for the look- it could be a mass produced barely pop from the appearance. Very lager looking. The aroma pretty much pounces before you get your nose to the cup. Definitely Mosaic hops here, and no shortage of them! The taste is good, just a bit odd; like two things that don't quite click together but I can't define it. All the individual components work, just all together it's a bit something. The feel is fine, perfectly appropriate for the style.
OA, I think it's quite refreshing and rather tasty. I might even go through a 6 pack in a weekend trying to figure out what that "something" is.

16 oz. can. Clear golden. Smells of strong mosaic hops in the form of garlic, citrus, and earthy tones. Tastes of strong mosaic as well. Citrus, strong garlic, earthy, a little fruity. Mineral and seltzery back end. Light. Drinkable, but it's all hop. Very little body or malt flavor.

Very pale, almost sickly yellow hue; completely transparent. Good head production and decent retention.

Nose is exceptionally herbal! Dank, pungent, bright, green, and grassy.

Quite citrusy on the palate up front, with a hugely dank and pungent back half. Crisp and clean; slightly oily.

Party Cup Mosaic Lager pours a brilliantly transparent straw color with a one inch white head that quickly dissolved. Small but lively bubbles meandered to the surface for much of the glass. The aroma burst out of the can before even pouring. It reminded me of standing in the middle of a brewery. It was the perfect encapsulation of fermenting grain and grassy hops. As it warmed the berry notes from the mosaic became much more prominent. This is the definition of a crisp lager made with pale malts and some rice, but then given a supercharge of mosaic that supply notes of berry, lemon, and dank resin. The finish is relatively dry with the malt getting a brief moment to present and a slight bitterness. This is a light bodied and crisp drinker on the palate. Overall, a super easy drinking lager with a big kick of mosaic.

Was nice to find a true IPL in 2021, and it was wonderful. Clear yellow body with a white head. Mango, lemon, faint pineapple, orange, and resinous hop nose with onion accents. Taste has the same elements but fruits are more subdued and in their place there is sneaky robust grains, yeast and bready malts, hops finish dryer than they smelled. Feel is frothy, pale yet lighter body, carbonation is a little high, more hop focused but it is very drinkable. Nice IPL for any time of year

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and some small patches of bubbles on the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of mangos are present in the nose along with notes of orange citrus.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of tropical flavors of mangos. There is only a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied, clean and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPL is bursting with aromas and flavors of Mosaic hops.

Can’t say that I am a fan of this style, I really can’t. Like, if I’m not a Beyoncé guy, I’m just not gonna groove to “All the Single Ladies” no matter how much it brings people’s milkshakes to the yard. And here, I think it’s probably ok for the style, but I just don’t like the style - all dead grassy and hoppy and stuff. Weird combo. It’s not off-putting in anyway (though maybe a bit slick in the end). But overall it’s just ok.

What a beauty. Clear and pale, the beer looks like your typical light lager. But the deception is short lived as the nose is absolutely exploding with dank, fully, berries.
Taste follows suit with an absolute wallop of mosaic hop goodness.
Literally my.only complaint about this beer is that I want to chug an irresponsible amount of it at all times. Way to.good. if I had had.beer like this in college I would probably be dead

Illegibly dated can into a pilsner glass, paired with spicy Greek pizza.

A: Light golden with less than 1 finger of low density white head with limited retention and no lacing.

S: Nose POPS! Berries and dank, loved it!

T: Tries it's best to match the nose, but falls slightly short with less dynamic character. Finishes with mild bitterness and just a hint of astringency, palate slowly drys.

F: Low-medium bodied with medium carbonation, bubbly a just a wee bit thin on the tongue, slick and crisp on the swallow

O: Outstanding! If North Park keeps shipping this will be in rotation with Pivo in my beer fridge. If you like IPLs and Mosaic, you NEED to try this one!
