This wonderfully balanced and flavorful Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout was aged in Old Fitzgerald barrels for 19 months and conditioned on Coconut, Macadamia Nuts, Hawaiian Vanilla Beans, and Kona Coffee for a tropical flair.

Baker's chocolate, coffee roast, subtle nutty macadamia, vanilla-coconut, and a prominent bourbon barrel boozy nose on this one! Taste follows pretty closely with thicc and viscous, fudge brownie chocolate, mocha coffee, and a warming bourbon barrel boozy heat finish. This is good! It is just a touch out of balance IMO. The coffee and barrel heat notes overwhelmed the Macadamia nuts, vanilla, and coconut...and there was a touch of green pepper on the nose. I loved the viscosity here...I just wish the additions shined equally with each other.
