Beer names are hard, so to cut to the chase meet our latest TDH Hazy DIPA “This is our Phantasm Cup Entry”. While we may have kept the name simple, the recipe is anything but! We threw a plethora of Phantasm, Freestyle Mega Terps, Citra, Citra Cryo, Citra Dynaboost, and Freestyle Super Sauvin into this beer for an over-the-top aroma of full-flavored apricot, orange-mango juice, subtle melon and fresh white grape. Pour this full-bodied, opaque beauty into a trophy cup (a regular glass will do too!) and sip on notes of sticky stone fruit, and mixed, dank tropical fruit. Phantasm Cup, here we come!

Sweet tropical hoppy, subdued white wine grape, and an orange-grapefruit citrus nose on this one! Hmmm...the aromatics are kinda subtle here with all the Nelson-like products used here...I had to search for it.
Taste follows pretty closely, unfortunately...it left me searching/wanting more Nelson hop characteristics on the palate. I mean, this is good, but it's kinda watery mid-palate instead of Nelson hop expressive.
After having a lot of hazies with Phantasm, I have found that when Phantasm is the feature, I have been left a little disappointed to be honest. When it is just an addition to already used and prominent Nelson hops, it's a plus. I was a little disappointed with this one.
