Batch 2 canned 8/18/25 with a slightly different hop profile! NZ-106 was replaced with Riwaka this time around!
The moment you all (but really, we all) have been waiting for… we’re psyched to bring you Elder-Fu! Our dear friend and legendary brewer Vinnie Cilurzo of Russian River came down south with an arsenal of his hand-selected hops to brew with us, and to say this is an honor would be quite an understatement. As you may have guessed, Elder-Fu! is a crystal-clear Double Dry Hopped West Coast Double IPA brewed with Simcoe DynaBoost, Simcoe Cryo, Simcoe, Riwaka, Nectaron, Krush Cryo, Mosaic, Tangier, & Amarillo Abstrax Quantum Brite. Expect layers of tangerine, dank pine resin, a touch of herbal orange blossom & light berry paired with a balanced, dry finish. This is the way of the Fu!: Keep cold, drink fresh, or prepare to face the fury of the Fu!

8/18/25 Batch 2! Sweet and piney tropical hoppy, and a classic, old-school/touch of new school westie aromatics on this one! Taste follows with a super-clean, yet super-flavorful, balanced piney-hoppy bitter finish. Wow! This is so well-balanced between the sweetness upfront and the piney, hoppy bitterness on the backend. So much so that this may be even better than Batch 1! I was so impressed with batch 1 that I didn't think that this was possible! LOL! Was it the switch from the experimental NZ-106 hops to Riwaka hops? Was it a tweak in the brewing process to dial it in even more? Whatever it is, they have dialed this one in to darn near perfection! Absolutely fantastic!!!
