I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight . It poured a clear amber with white head that left some lace. The scent had sweet malt and bitter hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp sweet malt base and subtle bittering hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Pale coppery brew, slightly hazy. Fantastic retention of a creamy head.
Caramel malt, balanced against light citrus hops. A touch peppery.
Crisp flavor for a red ale. Bright piney hops add tremendous balance without making this a red IPA, while toasty biscuit comes on smoothly on the second half. Finishes with a kiss of brown sugar.
