I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight . It poured a slightly hazy golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had bitter pine notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base and bitter pine resin presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Pint on keg at Shilling brewpub, Glasgow (£4.20):
Quite a nice one overall, it was a smooth and creamy offering with a full body that had me thinking it was closer to a cask than a keg offering at times. This coupled with the nice sweetness and the good balance to the beer made it quite an easy one to drink without it being overly complex or a standout offering; it's one I'd have again though.

Fairly dark orange brew, moderately cloudy, with an off-white head with good retention.
A touch of caramel on the nose, to go with citrus and pine. Fairly subdued.
Flavor isn't quite as restrained. It definitely straddles the line between APA and IPA, both in terms of ABV and a hefty malt profile - both pale and caramel. Semi-dry finish with a lingering citrus peel bite.
The finish screams IPA. Otherwise, it's got a medium feel and good drinkability.
