100 IBUs. A beer with the dryness, hop forward balance and flavor characteristics of an American IPA, only darker in color. The Gatekeeper is brewed in celebration of the 100th batch brewed at Four Leaf. A quadruple dry hop imparts a beautiful citrusy aroma. Bump up the ABV and you have the Gatekeeper! I only sampled this particular beer because I'm not a big fan of hoppy beers and wanted to try a hundred IBU beer. The 2oz sample wasn't overly bitter like some IPAs and, while I could handle a glass of Gatekeeper if I was drinking it with a meal.
