Bottled 2018, poured into tulip
Golden unfiltered, fizzy head
Tinny at first, warmed up to barnyard funk. Grass, hay, fungi. Very standard
mellow tones of orange peel, white grape, and, inevitably, yeast. Solid saison flavor
Levity as expected, but surprisingly a bit more fullness in mouthfeel. Perhaps from oak-barrel aging.
All around a very nice spring beer. Would have another for certain.

Pours a cloudy light straw color. Soda like head dissipates quickly with crackling carbonation.
Aroma is really bright - notes of orange, lemon zest, grass, some funky tart notes, yeasty esters.
Taste has notes of grain, lemon, lots of lemon, zest, grassy hops with some alfalfa notes. Peppery yeast notes in the back end. There is a certain warmth to this beer that seems to come from the alcohol.
Feel is crisp and light, with a noticeably lively carbonation. Semi-dry finish. Lightly tart.
Overall a really nice American saison.
