12oz can in a tulip. Don't see a date on it. Got it from @russpowell in NBS BIF #18, apparently more than a year ago! Been lurking in my fridge.
Pours black with a smallish head, fine bubbles that settle into a thin skin with a couple bigger bubbles. Not much carbonation. Smell is sweet coconut and molasses.
Taste is similar, way more chocolate though. Coconut is clear but not dominant, sweetness is strong but not cloying, some burnt nuts bitterness.
Mouthfeel is surprisingly light and smooth, particularly for a porter at 8%. Overall, pretty good.

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: extremely dark brown hue with a murky body and a finger of frothy dark tan foam atop. Very nice.
Smell: super sweet chocolate and coconut aroma; it really has that Samoa girl scout cookie thing going on. I like it, although it’s definitely a sweet boi.
Taste: very much like the aroma; chocolate and coconut, with a bit of caramel and a very welcome roasty element at the finish. It’s not just beer candy — there’s an ashy, slightly burnt roastiness at the end that really sells this one for me.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I really like this beer. Sweet, yes, but very tasty indeed.

Pours an effervescent Chestnut with a thumb of mocha colored head. Average-ish head retention & lacing
S: Loads of coconut, some chocolate notes as well
T: Follows the nose, some toasty dryness, certainly makes me think Mounds Bar up front. Plenty of toasted coconut, dryness & cocoa as this beer warms up. Finishes dry, toasty with great coconut flavor & some cocoa
MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation
Very solid Coconut Porter, easy drinker, that ABV is well hidden
