Super fine, soft foam top head. Very clear dark gold orange hues. Nose is syrupy, spotty maple syrup, caramel, and toasty toffee.
Taste continues in a mild way in the mouth, with lots of toffee malt backbone. Reminded me of a fuller flavor Bass ale, more malts and more of a defined bitterness in the mouth. Lightly fruity. Shallow bubbleless feel and slightly rough from the hops. Reminiscent of Magnolia's Blue Bell in taste, but not as full or developed.
