This arrived as a nice deep gold color with a small head that lasted well, and left a fair amount of lace.
The smell is strikes a nice balance between hops and malt. As for the taste, rich malts lead the way and hops take over to clean up the finish. It's fairly traditional and definitely balanced. The mouthfeel is rich and full, while it's easy to drink.
Apparently this was a shared recipe, brewed up as a bit of an experiment between local establishments.
