On-tap at Magnolia
A: The pour is a pale straw/yellow color with a fluffy and dense white head.
S: Lots and lots of spices on the nose. I get a fair amount of coriander and perhaps some bitter orange peel. There seems to be a fair amount of pepper to it as well. A decent malt/bread component, but it doesn't necessarily stand out.
T: This is surprisingly bitter for a witbier. Quite a bit of white pepper flavor to go with the coriander and citrus peel. A decent enough malt flavor and some tart lemon notes (wasn't really expecting that).
M: The body is light to medium with a moderate to high level of carbonation.
D: Not terribly offensive, I must say. Drinkable, especially by Magnolia's standards.

Sampled 11/13/2010 at the brewpub.
Pours light yellow/white, not nearly as hazy as I'd expect for a wit, good lacing and retention.
Aroma is coriander and lemon with some wheat.
Flavor is light and bitter, heavy on the lemon, with some coriander and pepper.
Body is light and quite drinkable. Good bubbly beer to be sampled in proper BA fashion of 64oz or more.
