Deep mahogany color, lasting light brown head.
Nice roasty coffee aroma with a hint of hop.
Classic stout with a pronounced coffee flavor. All of the personality of the malt and hops shows thru nicely and compliments the coffee very well.
The mouth feel was smooth and creamy without being heavy.
Very drinkable, the lower abv makes it more sessionable than the current RIS craze.

Color: Pitch black with a decent brown one-finger head.
Aroma: Roasty and smooth with creamy coffee flavors in head. Inviting. This brew uses fair trade organic expresso from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.
Taste: Smooth, rich and creamy. Roasty. Like pouring coffee into a decent stout. I felt a bit of a buzz afterwards.
Verdict: A decent coffee stout that doesn't overwhelm the senses. Would make a good breakfast beer.
