Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 2 inch white head over a slightly hazy, light straw body with very nice lacing. Nose of tropical fruit, citrus and hops. Taste follows very nicely with a bit more than medium hop bitterness through the middle and finishing crisp, dry and pleasantly bitter. Very nice mouthfeel and overall it's better today than yesterday. I left some in the can and it smells heavenly; like tangerine, mandarin orange, tangelo, you name it! Next time all from the can! Cheers!

16oz can, drank out of the can, rest in a small glass just so I can properly rate the appearance. That being said, beer pours a medium orange body, more or less clear, bit of head, good bit of retention. Smells of rich and raw hop pellet; lots of hop resin pumps up this beer to heights unforeseen. The resin is strong, more of a herbal and floral aspect with a bit of grapefruit behind it all. Flavour is a ridiculous amount of resin, floral and grapefruit notes; moderate resinous bitterness is backed up a bit by a mild grainy malt sweetness. The combination seems to work really well though. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, appropriately carbonated, good depth and a moderate resinous bitterness on the backend. An interesting take on the IPA by Alchemist; the beer tastes like fresh raw hop pellets in a good way.
