yum! this is an exceptional ipa from these guys, so much more refined and complete to me than a lot of the other beers in this hazy hoppy field, thanks to my homie for sharing this can with me, a definite treat i would not have had access to otherwise, and the first one of these skadoosh beers i have had, which looks like a rotating hop in each one. this citra one is beautiful, and its unique for citra in that its quite bitter all the way though, not a property i usually associate with this hop, but its neat that its here, woody almost at times, and quite pungent at the end. its still citra though, so there is of course a nice round and soft gentle citrus profile of meyer lemon and lemongrass, even limoncello, its simple but unique at the same time, and supported by a simple pale two row type malt base, maybe a pinch of wheat, little else. its dry but fluffy, the haze isnt milky or thick or sloppy, and i like the softness thats here in the feel, still oily and dry hoppy, but also very mild in a lot of ways. great carbonation, long freshy hoppy finish, crisp even as they go thanks to the bitterness, and very smooth, warming up well and offering a more complete spectrum of citra than i am used to. delicious can of beer, i hope to get a chance to try some other iterations of this one down the road...

Taste mild sweetness, little malt, fruity Alchemist yeast esters, spicy slight pine hop but citrus, rind, fruity and touch tropical like, slight grapefruit pith, slight drier finish spicy hop
Mouth is med bod, little soft, decent carb
Overall petty nice, vey unique

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a hazy body with nice lacing. Very nice nose of tropical fruit, a bit of pine, and candied citrus. Fantastic flavors of orange, slight pine, and orange pith on the finish. The feel is as good as it gets with proper carb all the way through to a sexy orange slickness. Fairly crisp and dry finish and overall, one of the best representations of an honest to goodness American IPA. Cheers to The Alchemist's Stowe crew for this one! Dayum...
