I'm not an IPA aficionado, but this might be the best I've ever had. Strong flavored, but despite it's double IPA description, I find it very drinkable compare to other IPAs I've had (frankly I don't know the difference, single double, lol). I will say don't drink too many and drive, at 8% ABV.

Ive never had the IPA-version of Broken Spoke so no comparisons from me. Punt on the look - as usual I drank this Alchemist IPA from the can.
Aroma of pine, rind, pith, hop spiciness and toasted malt.
Taste is right there with that earthy and leafy spiciness adding a zest to the proceedings. Lots of pine, fresh cut citrus (picking up grapefruit and lemon/lime) and a bigger-than-usual malt presence.
Delicious and drinkable, crisp and dry. Perfect carbonation like usual.
