I've really come to love the Skadoosh series - they've run the gamut from really good (Summit) to out of this world (Citra). Although the ABV usually clocks in at around 7% I've found the series to be surprisingly light on the palate and relatively easy drinking.
Punt to a 4 for the look; drank all four from the can. At this point I just assume it looks like Focal Banger.
Aroma is heavy on the melon and cantaloupe followed with an earthy undertone with light spice. Melon City, population Skodoosh XXII. Really refreshing aroma that's perfect for the summer.
Taste...varies. If you drink this can after another Alchemist IPA (Focal for example) you may miss the nuances of the lighter fruit profile. It'll get buried beneath a palate coated with citrus and resin. Drinking it first, however, opened up that palate to the subtle and bright kiss of the melon and green kiwi.
Signature Alchemist carbonation - lively and crisp. Perfect.

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a hazy (NOT cloudy) body with some lacing. Wonderful nose of tropical fruit. Taste mirrors nose very nicely and smoothly with no offensive harsh bitterness whatsoever. Nice feel and overall, yet another fine Skadoosh offering from The Alchemist in one of the best examples I've ever had of a single hop IPA using Motueka hops. Cheers to the crew in Stowe!
