From a 16oz can, undated, purchased at the brewery 05/08/19. Served an an Alchemist-branded spiegelau IPA glass... totally proper glassware.
Pours a hazy dull gold color with three fingers of fluffy whipped foam. Retention is excellent and leaves fat wads of sticky lacing.
Smell is rich and malty-sweet with hints of pineapple and pine.
Taste pretty much follows the nose, richly malty with sappy, resinous pine dominating over hard lemon candies and unripened pineapple. Well balanced and with assertive bitterness.
Feel is crisp and drying, medium bodied with bright, prickly carbonation. An almost ashy, hoppy burn lingers in the throat and gullet.
Overall, nice change-up! None of that sissy-ass juicy stuff going on here - this is real honest put-some-hair-on-your-chest beer.

A: Pours a yellow-orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a nice cap that leaves good lacing
S: A good mix of tropical fruit and pine. A little bit of earthiness underneath as well
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the tropical fruit and then moves into the lightly bitter and dank pine notes. Very well balanced. Finishes with lingering tropical fruit and light bitterness
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth
O: An extremely well done version of this single-hop. I'm interested in seeing how this one gets used going forward once it gets an actual name and becomes more commercially available. Judging by this beer, it could be a big hit

16 oz. can.
Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a slightly hazy to hazy golden body with some sticky lacing. Wonderful nose of dank pine resin with some tropical fruit wafting in and out. Taste mirrors nose nicely, very smooth all the way through with that now classic Skadoosh feel. As it warms the fruit comes forward for an even more enjoyable experience. Overall, this is definitely one of the more dank offerings from the Skadoosh series but in such a good way with such a nice, dank and gently bitter finish. Cheers to The Alchemist for yet another fine IPA!
