Kenny's Kölsch is inspired by the classic cold fermented ales of Cologne, Germany - golden, crisp, and full of European hops.

Can: Poured a clear golden color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light sweet malt notes with clean cereal notes and dry herbal notes. Taste is also a mix of lightly sweet malt with some clean cereal notes with light herbal notes.. Well made Kolsch with good drinkability.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours hazy orange yellow with a small white head. Smells of sweet wheat with slight floral notes. Tastes of wheat and sweet grain with slight citrus. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.

Can from Mrbarleywine, thanks for hooking me up. Chill hazy yellow but almost gold. Bready crackery malt with earthy spicy hops to counter. Huge Pilsner Urquell vibes from this one, likely Saaz. Really nice

|I do not chase down kolsch but if it comes to me I will try it. A bit hoppy this one and surprisingly drinkable. After all, I will try a L'Alchemist any.

Picked-up a single can at the Alchemist Brewery in Stowe, Vermont for six dollars. My sixth brew from these guys. Not my favorite style, but pretty good.

16oz can, I don't see a date but bought straight out of the cooler at the brewery 2 weeks ago so assuming fresh.
1 1/2" white head with excellent retention and sticky lacing left behind as it slowly recedes. Pale golden and appears unfiltered. Good looking beer.
Soft doughy malt and a floral hop overlay - maybe a hint of citrus at play here as well. Delicate and enticing aroma.
Great balance of bready malt, floral/herbal hops and an over-arching fruity note. Really well done.
Medium body, soft mouthfeel, low to medium carbonation. Mild lingering bitterness. Dry finish.
Very drinkable, packs a lot of flavor and some complexities in at 4.4%.
Very good.
