Appearance: The liquid spouts forth the color of squeezed blueberries and is capped by a one finger vaguely mauve head; decent stickage and splotches of lace
Smell: Acetic blueberry tones; oaky and with some barnyard funk
Taste: Sweet blueberry on the tip of the tongue followed by a wave of acetic sourness; oaky and a bit dry, through the middle, with a bit of barnyard funk emerging, after the swallow
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation; puckery
Overall: The best of the Wild Child series I have tried; this one really nailed it

375 ml. bottle.
7.9% abv (as per label.)
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 1/2 inch slightly off-white head over a pinkish cranberry color body with just a tiny bit of haze with some lacing. Nose of blueberry, slight citrus, and the slightest touch of funk. Wonderful flavors of blueberry, lemon, and a bit of candied lemon on the finish. Nicely tart with a great mouthfeel for a wild ale. Served with Maine oysters on the half shell. Recommend highly (and good luck in your quest to secure this gem!)
Cheers!!!
