The NZ Finale… for now. With this batch, we bring our extended New Zealand hop chapter to a close. Months of brewing and blending different hops have led us to this moment. For this batch, we brewed with Nelson Sauvin and Rakau, then topped it off with a dry hop of Motueka and Egger’s Special.

From an undated 16oz can into a pint shaker. Based on social media, this beer was probably canned in late February.

Pours and opaque yellowish orange with about one finger of white head. Great retention and decent lacing.

Aromas of white grape/wine, wet earth, light citrus and cut grass.

Taste follows with grapes/wine and earth in the lead. A nice citrus peel bitterness follows.

Full-bodied with a mostly soft feel-just a touch of stickiness. Low carbonation. Bitter aftertaste.

I would put this one on Tree House level NEIPA with a heavier mouthfeel. Great beer.
