On tap at the brewery/restaurant.
Looks as expected- hazy, straw to gold in hue. Fluffy white head is quite pretty. Good retention with clumpy lacing.
Nose really does present what they were shooting for, orange creamsicle. Smooth and slightly sweet notes of orange zest and vanilla start off followed by a crackery malt base. This is all presented in a mildly sweet way, not over the top.
Flavor follows the nose and really rounds out in the mouth. Creamy orange, occasional pops of more bitter grapefruit notes with hints of grass. The malt notes come in like oats- creamy and slightly sweet.
Mouthfeel is medium, a bit pillowy, with an even carbonation. Finishes slightly bitter but also sweet.
Overall, a really well executed NEIPA that hit what they were going for.
