Lightly hazy, bright golden hue, slim white head.

In the nose: Fruit blast at first, citrus and stone. Lemon and apricot, peach and tangerine. Lightly spiced. Lively. Lovely.

In the mouth: Again, the fruit factor splashes upon the palate, right there with Belgian yeast. Starts out fruity, slightly sweet, just a touch bitter and spicy, turning dry in the end. Medium bodied, clean, easy drinking, refreshing. Authentic flavors of Belgian saison continue on the palate. Citrus and stone fruit taste go on and on, with a trickle of spice right behind.

One of the better locally produced saisons I've tasted in quite a while. Yum, as is often said, a dum dum.

At the taproom, into a plastic covid-19 special party cup, looks a very appealing honeyed goldenrod, with just a little ring of aspirin-white head. Nose has a lot of pepper, some wet hay, and some kind of dull sweetness I can’t place. Taste carries the nose forward, with quite a bit of pepper, but still, there’s just nothing very defined or on point about this...it’s got lots of potential and promising parts, but doesn’t quite come together, imo. I like pepper, but this might be a little heavy. Feel: fuller body, moderately under-carbonated, no zip or liveliness, but still finishes fairly dry.
