Dry and lively farmhouse style ale fermented with our house saison strain and dry-hopped with Hallertau Blanc. Aroma of minerals, white wine, and honeysuckle. Nuanced flavors of white pepper, orange tea, and alfalfa honey.

Served in a willibecher at the tap room. Slightly peachy dandelion gold, chilled slight haze, big soapy bubbles that subside quickly. Definitely getting some white pepper on the nose, some light sweet floral notes...not sure I'd get the advertised mineral without the suggestion, but once I read that it's there, maybe. For the taste, everything that is in the nose is there on the tongue, as well as more crackery malt and maybe a little bubblegum, a little very faint and modest bretty medicinal note (not at all sweet or juicy and not very funky)....finishes pretty dry and lively, but not super clean or neat: the brett and the floral notes linger. Very enjoyable and interesting beer, but leaves me wishing there was something more....good enough to make me wish for a little more in terms of funk, or in terms of a really neat and clean saison-type finish.
