In one of the great summer movies of all time, The Goonies went below ground to seek adventure and to create a better world where they could all thrive. Their motto: “Never say die” is as relevant today as it was in 1985 for those who still adventure in the direction of noble causes. Like the rest of our Signature Series of New England-style IPAs, this beer is massively hopped in evolutionary ways to create a juicy-like profile that is low in bitterness and bursts with flavor and aroma. The beer is dangerously drinkable, due to a soft palate, a meticulously calculated balance between elements, and explosive juiciness. Feel free to do a truffle shuffle, build a newadventure with friends, and never, ever, stop being a Goonie.

L: Radiant orange brew with a bit of foam and evenly speckled lace.
S: Syrupy resin and citrus. Standard west coast fare.
T: Orange peel. Easy drinker.
F: Smooth but a bit to safe and simple for me.
O: I enjoyed this throwback to the good ole days of IPAs. But it was a bit underwhelming when it was all said and drank! The Goonies on the other hand. Never say die!

Taste is lightly bitter, dry, juicy citrus, seedy berries, light bready malt, a tad peppery. Pours hazy orange with a lacy bone white head. Aroma is like orange juice, some citrus peel. Perfectly creamy mouthfeel with tight compact carbonation. Excellent, excellent representation of the NE style. 9,4,8,5,19

Growler, thanks bro- Pours hazy orange with a large white head that holds nicely. Aroma is citrusy, dank hops, resinous, all NE style. The taste is similar, citrusy, piney, resinous, melon, cantaloupe, medium level dryness while remaining juicy. Delicious interpretation of the NE style.
