more a pale than anything else, low bitterness and liberally dry hopped, not a whole lot to it, but good beer, even if the name leads us on a little bit. i could drink plenty of this one, and would be happy too, being left alone. its simple on the grain side, and it well hopped, but with stuff we have seen and experienced before enough to know that this is just another beer. i hate sparkling being part of the name too, sure, its well carbonated and all, but this does nothing for me in terms of mouthfeel that is any more robust than normal, and the name only sets up disappointment, it doesnt deliver, and it almost never could, even in theory, so why say that it sparkles? it doesnt. good hop flavors, and fresh, and really pretty good, but anyone could have done this, and nothing at all about it sets it apart in any way. i could drink a number of them, but thats true of a million beers and should not be used as any kind of meaningful measure. i liked this place a lot, fun to hang and their beer was good, but this didnt get the blood flowing much for me...
