We knew after the success of last year's anniversary release of Lupujūs 9, we needed to do something special this year. So, we created a magical Double IPA with one of the best hop combos we’ve ever used. 6th Anniversary Double NEIPA has over 6lbs per barrel of Nelson Sauvin, Vic Secret, Motueka, and Citra T90&Cryo. It's dangerously drinkable with profile of big papaya, white wine, and bubble gum.

Pours pale, hazy yellow with a modest head. Aroma is deeply citrus -- grapefruit mostly. Taste is grapefruit, some pine and some orange. Mouthfeel is light, well carbonated and nicely bright with hops. Good.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color and has hints of whitish hues. It poured with a quarter finger high head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of gooseberries are present in the nose along with notes of pineapple.
T: The taste has flavors of gooseberries along with notes of limes and hints of pineapple and basil-like herbs. Notes of white wine also become noticeable as the beer warms up. Only a slight amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied, juicy and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found the taste of this New England IPA to be very complex and interesting. It does a very good job at hiding any traces of alcohol from the taste.
