Alchemy 16 New England Style India Pale Ale (7%)
Typically, Imagine Nation NEIPAs are crafted with oats and wheat to impart haze and texture. Alchemy 16 employs a carefully selected all-barley grain bill and some special process modifications in an effort to impart an equally hazy appearance and soft texture despite the absence of high protein adjuncts. Additionally, this batch of Alchemy debutes an experimental hop, HBC 586, that we are incredbily excited about. Paired with Citra, we taste an incredibly complex and compelling array of tropical and citrus notes ranging from funky papaya, sweet mango, overripe passionfruit, pineapple, and orange juice. We are incredibly pleased with not only the flavors and aromas of this hop combination, but the cleaner and simpler malt expression and finish.
