Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours pitch black with a small light brown head. Smells of coffee and slight maple. Tastes of coffee and slight chocolate, and very slight syrup. Beer is medium bodied yet easy drinking, decent carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Reacquainted w/Draught pint at The Brass Tap in Baltimore. Better (if less atmospheric?) lighting than at the Black Flag pub in Columbia accounts for the improved "look" rating.

On draft at the brewery.
Black, with thick tan head. Nice coffee aroma. Taste is pleasant, well balanced - coffee, chocolate, mildly sweet. Full bodied, drinks nice.

Very nice, coffee forward coffee stout. Deep coffee, chocolate roasty flavor and decent smoothness. Not very bitter. This was the best beer I tried at black flag during my visit.
