Haze a bit lighter than usual. Moderately juicy aroma. Pretty intense flavor for 5.5%, leans into the Simcoe pineyness with the usual dank Black Flag background. Surprisingly bitter and a tad astringent.

3rd Anniversary Edition.
This pours a supremely hazy golden color, with about two fingers worth of white-colored head. The first curveball comes from the aroma: instead of delicate tropical fruits, somewhat bracing notes of pine needles, grass, and dank nugs are offered, along side the slightest touch of malt. This comes across as being somewhat "green", so to speak. Not bad, but far from what was expected. At first, a light touch of tropical fruits touches the palate, followed by waves of exactly what the nose suggested: pine, grass, and...uh...grass. It finishes quite bitterly for a hazy IPA, though thankfully it's not up to the tongue-ripping standard of certain west coast IPAs (COUGH Stone IPA COUGH). There is enough softness and creaminess in the body to quell some of the bitterness. On the other hand, there's a noticeable yeast burn that actually makes it seem even more bitter. Carbonation is fairly low. In a way, Rainbow Road lives up to its track's namesake: it seems like it's going to be easy and colorful experience, only for it to surprise with its brutal difficulty. The powerful bitterness is akin to sailing off the course on the very first turn. I'm probably going to return to my two other cans in a couple weeks to see if it comes together better - right now, only fans of bitter beasts need apply.
3.05/5: The experience is a lot closer to the Mario Kart track than I hoped for

No canning date.
Pours straw/orange.. super hazy. Very little lacing, carbonated head with good retention.
Citrus, pine.. GF. Taste is very heavy pine and citrus. MF is gnarly. Bitter hop burn that extends way too long, post drink.
This is the 3rd Anniversary edition of RR. It's too hot for me. The burn blows away what a DDH is supposed to (IMO) impart. Not a fan of this one.

Hazy darkish yellow, white head with decent retention and lace
Citrus, tropical, and slight pine aromas
Citrus, especially pith, is dominant in the flavor, with slight pine and tropical, and just a bit of bready malt.
Pretty light, but satisfying
Pretty good new take on APA. I'd prefer a bit more malt, though.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours yellow orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus, especially orange, and piney hops. Tastes of citrus hops, orange, and sweet grain. Beer is light bodied and very easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good. beer.

On draft at brewery
Very pale straw colored, hazy. Not much head. Nice citrus and tropical fruit hop aroma, but not as bold as expected for a "double dry hopped" beer. Mild bitterness. Thinner bodied.
