Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours yellow orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus hops with slight floral notes. Tastes of citrus hops with tropical notes and slight earthiness. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Pours a murky golden color that isn't as hazy as some of Mully's hazebombs, but still has a solid turbidity to it. The aroma is impressively juicy - orange, grapefruit, tangerine, and passion fruit pop incredibly well. Even better, it doesn't come off in an overly bitter fashion. It doesn't disappoint on the palate, as it starts off strong with plenty of citrus and tropical fruit notes. There is a light touch of finishing bitterness, but it evokes citrus peel over sharp pine or grass (and NEVER overpowers at any point). The malt backbone consisting of sugar cookie and cracker notes is subtle throughout, giving it some balance without overpowering the hop flavors. I really can't complain about the general flavor profile, though it could use just a touch more depth. In terms of mouthfeel, it eschews the supreme creaminess and body of the more turbid New England IPAs in favor of a crisper, more angular texture. And it ends up being the highlight of the beer: it's crisp enough to go down easily, soft enough to be approachable, and doesn't feature the chalkiness that can plague hazy IPAs. Carbonation is decent. I really dig this one, I have to say. It's really easygoing with a boldly fruity hop character. This is the first beer from this brewery that has properly impressed me!

4.03/5: Definitely the best thing Black Flag has done to date
