Dark brown appearance with a fast fleeting light tan head, minor lacing. Roast malt, pleasant bitterness, bold vanilla, faint coffee, light body, light moderate carbonation, bright and refreshing.

Draught pint at The Brass Tap here in Baltimore: FtR - I like vanilla. Dark reddish brown w/a short lived white head. Vanilla on the nose. On the tongue too w/some roasted malts. Medium carbonation, and a lighter-medium body. Not bad at all.

Pours a deep, thick cola brown into a pint glass, with a thick, persistent head. Strong scent of vanilla and not much else, a bit of barley or wheat? Comes on as strong as the smell, starts with vanilla. Rounds with vanilla. Finishes ... you guessed it barley. Nah its vanilla but also there's some chalky, chocolatey undertones. Medium-bodied, mildly bitter. vanilla is of course a flavor that tends to overshadow others. Still its lightness made it pair well with a nice crunchy salad with honey dijon dressing.

"Smooth with a touch of roast and chocolate that is kept in check by vanilla that is added at 2 different points in the brewing process."
5 oz pour on tap. Pours light brown with very little head or lacing. Aroma is vanilla, coffee, and some dark malts. Flavor is kind of weak and watery. Mouthfeel is also watery. Meh.
