Brown, scant fast fleeting tan head, low retention, no lacing, thin body, moderate carbonation. Mild bakers chocolate, prune, plum, faint spice, no heat. Ok. Drinks a lot like a porter.

Looks the part. Dark brown. Creamy mocha head. Decent aroma, not getting much cocoa. Dark chocolate emerges on the palate but not impressed by the light roast, wispy cinnamon and non-existent chili notes. Falls short as a Mexican hot chocolate stout. I keep waiting for that big wave of cinnamon flavor at the end but it never arrives. Smooth drinker for 6.5%, but overall, just not dialed in.
