While the malt base is the same, we tweaked the hop bill to incorporate some hops that really impressed us this year. We hand selected Nelson Sauvin in 2 forms direct from New Zealand - both the traditional pellets as well as Hop Kief. We also snuck in a bit of hand selected El Dorado that really blew us away this year. The result is a creamy body with moderate carbonation carrying overripe fruit, blended tropical fruit, and a waft of cannabis.

A bright chalky cloud of pale yellow with a muted but pleasant nose, mild floral notes
Grapefruit on the tongue. Tasty
Medium-heavy mouth-feel. Chewy, not cloying.
A very nice offering.

Growler into pint glass. Pours a murky pale gold with a substantial fluffy off-white head. Great lacing, especially for a DIPA. Initial impression is juicy tropical fruits, grapefruit, and mango. Mouthfeel is thick, soft and smooth. Finish fades to a slight fruity spiciness. Overall, an excellent offering from Black Flag.
