The aroma is a captivating blend of dark fruit, featuring rich notes of figs, raisins, and plums, complemented by a subtle spiciness from the Belgian yeast. On the palate, it unfolds with layers of caramel malt sweetness, hints of brown sugar, and a touch of chocolate, all balanced by a gentle warmth from the alcohol. The mouthfeel is smooth and medium-bodied, leading to a slightly earthy finish with lingering notes of toffee and dark fruit.

A can poured into a Hefeweizen glass.
A hazy dark brown/amber pour with low head retention and slippery intermittent lacing.
The flavor is where this beer shines. Flavors of caramel malt, banana, clove and bubble gum are all accounted for. There are subtle flavors of spice, coriander, also dark chocolate, toffee, muddled fruit, including plums, dark cherry, mild baked pear/apple that give it some depth and complexity.
The finish is pleasant, and alcohol moderate.
A tasty Belgian Dubbel.
