16oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. Don't see a date on it. Received from @WunderLlama as part of NBS BIF #14.

Pours very dark brown with a small head. Not much carbonation. Smell is roasty, sweet, vanilla, lots of chocolate.

Taste is similar -- roasty, nutty, sweet, vanilla, milk chocolate. Bit of roasty bitterness makes it feel better balanced.

Mouthfeel is on the light side of medium. Overall, very nice beer!

From the brewer.... Imperial S'mores Porter - Aromas of chocolate and coffee. Notes of rich chocolate, graham cracker and vanilla-marshmallow come together in a rich creamy mocha-dark sip.

To be honest - I love me some thicker viscosity porter. Campfire King fits that bill. Really nice mouthfeel for a creamy porter. Nice work.

Smell and taste-wise - Throw this beer into the mix of the adjunct flavored porter and stout craze. I'm a traditionalist. Really, just give me a porter. However, I found this interesting. Up front, the brewer was clever. They added some lactose - like a milk stout - that really enhanced the marshmallow presence. Mellows into a nice chocolate and graham cracker finish. They did accomplish what they set out to do.

Overall - give me a beer, not a dessert. But if you do, I like s'mores.
