This is a soft, delicious find of a table ale.
I'm on a beer-tasting trip to Belgium. So that's the most likely place to find something this nice that I've not tried.
The best pleasure was it was at a restaurant and one of their recommended brews for their simple meals. Perfect fit at LKKRS restaurant in Zedelgem.
Blonden Os opens with a big bubbled fluffy head, then settles down to normal Looks for a blonde. Smells are mostly malt and my first springtime meal outdoors. Tastes are mild and well-balanced, but also make a cheese and bread lunch seem like a pauper's feast. Medium-mouthed and soft. I'm hoping to have Blonden Os again.
As for the very good Overall Hugs I've given Bourgogne Des Flandres, they deserve it. My first from them, I went on their website and they preserve many of the brewing traditions of Brugges and Flanders. And since this is one of the richest brewing traditions on earth, this micro deserves my OA appreciation. And I look forward to more from them.

Copenhagen 12/3 2022. 33 cl bottle from Beerdealer web-shop. Archaic-looking lightly yellow label with a rustic logo with a black Bull.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a grainy sourness and a bit of metallic alcohol. Sweet pale malts, bread, cereal. Sharp alcohol.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a distinct sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit generic Belgian Pale Ale. More Pale than Belgian.

Bottle into (eponymous!) glass at ‘t Poatersgat which has been updated since 10 years ago. Outstanding 3rd beer - moderate ABV but still a splash of Belgian flavor.

Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)…
L- Light gold, poured with a hint of haze. The bottle is clean though so it's filtered to a good degree. 1Cm just off-white creamy head that looks like it'll stick around. Good rising CO2 as well. [ps 10mins later, 2/3rds gone, the head is still 1Cm high].
S- That 'kinda leathery yet a touch sour' aspect, really only found in Belgian+locale beers.
T- That smell^ carries over directly into the taste, although I'd edit 'sour' for hoppy-dry facet. I think what smelled 'sour' was in fact Belgian yeast ester notes.
F- Plenty to keep the palate occupied. It has some meat [ABV/richness] on it yet also the bright taste and CO2 keep it refreshing.
O- I like this one. It's got plenty to keep the palate divining what is going on. Lovely balance, zero elements out of place or 'unwanted'. Great taste, would be great on a hot day in the garden!
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the bottle lables to see what I missed! ==> Contains: 'spices'.
330ml bottle £3.80 BB: 20/03/2022Bought from BelgianBeerCompany, Stoke/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.
